Cacao Love Raw Ceremonial Cacao – 450g
Chocolate in its most natural, nutritious and delicious form.
Raw ceremonial cacao is so much more than a hot chocolate. Rich, deep and naturally chocolatey, it can be enjoyed as part of your everyday routine or used more intentionally for cacao ceremonies, meditation, journalling and ritual.
Cacao has a long history of ceremonial use and, for me, there is something really lovely about taking the time to prepare a cup, sit down and actually be present with it.
Where my cacao comes from
This ancient variety of Criollo cacao is grown by Asháninka family farmers in Peru through the country’s first all Indigenous cooperative.
Cacao Love works directly with growers who steward their own land and have a say in shaping their own future. Their approach supports sustainable cacao production, farming families and the forests where the cacao is grown.
This is the only cacao I buy and use myself, because knowing where it comes from and how the farmers are treated really matters to me.
By choosing this cacao, you’re not only getting gorgeous quality cacao, you’re helping to support a way of growing it that allows forests to thrive and farming families to flourish.
How much to use
Everyday cacao: I personally use around 20g per cup.
Ceremonial or ritual use: Around 40g is recommended for a deeper ceremonial cacao experience.
Simply chop or grate the cacao and gently melt it into hot water or your favourite plant milk. You can enjoy it just as it is or add spices such as cinnamon, vanilla, chilli or a little natural sweetness.
What you’ll receive
450g of raw ceremonial Criollo cacao
